Storytelling

Imagine a time before people could read and write..

 then there were no books, newspapers or television.

 How did people record their achievements & preserve their cultural identity?  

The answer is storytelling.

Every culture has their own set of stories passing them on from generation to generation by word of mouth.

The desire of these stories were varied & complex.

Some stories included the cosmos, creation of human, trials, religion or

tales told purely for entertainment.
