Our readings take place at various locations throughout Houston where the audience can enjoy the pleasure of poetry, music, and dance: The Artery Art gallery and sanctuary for local performers - Mark Larsen has generously let us use his space for our special events.
Casa Ramirez Folk Art Gallery
Casa Ramirez is Houston’s premier Mexican folk art shop. Macario & Chrissie Ramirez graciously host many of our events in their classroom space. They are strong advocates of preserving Mexican-American culture. Their shop carries a wide assortment of Hispanic books and the Ramirez's conduct classes about Mexican history and traditions throughout the year. Freed-Montrose Public Library
The Freed-Montrose Public Library is our neighborhood library and an intimate place to hold presentations. Mark Morrow, the library director has been a great supporter of our programs. |
